This was a cute delivery simulator which I found the demo for earlier this year. The art style reminded me of WEBFISHING, so I was immediately intrigued. I played the demo and then patiently awaited the release of the full game, which came out in September. You follow a series of quests, progressing through the world and unlocking new areas with a conclusion to the story once you unlocked all areas (Don’t worry, you’re still able to continue your save). The gameplay loop revolves around you taking jobs then driving through the world, all taking place on a snowy mountain. You must balance your energy and fuel, get energy drinks and spend all your hard-earned cash on fuel. The gimmick of your jobs is that your cargo are physics objects, bouncing around or falling out if you drive to carelessly, resulting in you having to recover the cargo.
The economy of the game is tough, with a full tank of fuel generally costing 60$, compared to the 15$-20$ you earn for small jobs, or 60-90$ for larger ones. On top of your fuel, you must also balance your energy with energy drinks or the better-but-more-expensive coffee. On top of the necessary parts, a variety of items and cosmetics are available to the player. For example, you can upgrade your truck with snow tires, allowing you to drive easily through the snow, whether it be piles of snow on the roads or taking an off-road shortcut. The area the game takes place in is extremely cold, with your map in-game telling you the temperature is usually far below zero. This means when the player isn’t in their truck or store, they begin to freeze over the span of a short time, around a minute. Upon replaying the game for this review, I found a lot more content than I immediately realised there was. Whilst driving through one of the areas of the game, the Fishing Village, I found a shortcut connecting two of the towns in the area, a lot faster than taking the road down and around the area. As well as just being faster the shortcut led me to find two “bobbleheads” for me to put in my truck. There is also radio stations dotted around the map, when activated giving your truck more channels and songs to play as you drive around.
There’s about 7~ hours of content, I’m currently sitting at about 8 hours and I’m yet to find all the collectables or buy all the upgrades, but I have seen the endings. It’s a cute, atmospheric game which I’d recommend getting on sale if you don’t like the 12€ price tag. The gameplay is fun, the music is good, and by the end I found myself engaged with all the characters in the game. All in all, it’s a good game which I’d recommend.

Awesome game love it :3
